A moment from the journey

The first week of our Hawaiʻi Summer 2009 album includes a visit to Pearl Harbor and time together on and around the water. I kept photos of the USS Arizona Memorial and a battleship deck alongside a couple of pictures of my boys and me. For me, that combination of history and time together is what makes the week feel distinct.
